CTA Website Ideas

Hey everyone,

Looking for ideas for different stats / categories to add (on League Leaders and Player pages for example).

Other ideas for the website are also welcome.

It would be cool to have a Rivals section on the Player or League Leaders page or its own section which could be something like...
-Rivals-
Arch Rival (Opponent matchup that DR K/D [Player vs Arch Rival 1v1 matchup stats] or Wins etc. is most even.)
Arch Nemesis (This opponent has won most games, best Win%, best DR, KD, most DD vs, or least DT vs Player) somethin like that

And you could add many more similar type Rival Stat. Lines.

Also this could be a League Leader Stat AND on the Player Pages... on the League Leaders section it could show titles earned like... Dominator (person who has most kills vs ANY individual opponent), Dominated (inverse of Dominator), have one for most GP, most W , most L, most OT wins , most OT losses, most flags picked up, most flaggers killed, most flags capped, etc..

HELL, we could even have a Total Lasers Fired statistic...

I'll think about other things that could be useful / fun additions and try to list them on this thread. ByeEeeeee!!!!!!!

Another fun (to me) idea I had was create a Green vs Red stat page where the main statistics displayed would be team stats of some kind. This might be better implemented on the "Maps" pages. Also you could show or sort some player statistics on either Green or Red team, not both.

What about adding "Strengths" and "Weaknesses" somewhere, not sure how u would do this other than comparing certain stats vs other players in some way.

oTa suggested an idea to me which was to display players that were "Hot" (winning high% in last x days) or "Cold" (losing high% in last x days). Stats other than W/L stats could be factored in here as well.

Does anyone have ideas for statistics like the NBA's win share statistic, or ideas for coming up with a +/- statistic that is legit? cheers!!!

Create a tier list for ranks copied from other games like platinum diamond etc and have a 'Tier" page or something that lists the tier groups and players in it.

-edit- I suppose you could do this for maps lol.. joy would be highest tier map or league certified or some shit. based on amount of games played on the map in CTA's.

I tried to come up with a Player Impact Estimate (PIE) stat like the NBA uses. I came up with this...
PIE = (kills+dr-deaths+dkr+ddf) / (teamkills+teamDR-teamdeaths+teamdkr+teamddf) * 100
It's definitely flawed, but I think we could use it someday or base a stat off of it.
