I agree with the suggestions here.

Health is 224 (technically the HP is 223 but players can survive with 0 HP), players start smoking at 80 HP.

Sometimes the game list doesn't update automatically. Try using '/refresh' or ask an admin to '/restart' from the lobby.

To play Armor Critical, please install the most recent release of Java from http://java.com . I also recommend completely removing all versions of Java (restart computer after) and reinstalling the newest version of Java (restart computer after) if you continue to have problems getting Armor Critic...
